Impromptu Photoshoot

Last night was the first night that Elle slept without her arms swaddled in. She had been resisting her swaddle these past few days and breaking out her little hands to chew on them. She had always had difficulty sleeping without her swaddle in the past but I was eager to give it a shot since she is getting a little old for it. She slept the first part of the night with her sweet little hands balled up on her face and the remainder of the night with them tightly at  her side, as if she were still swaddled. I can't believe it took her this long to not "need" it anymore but I guess each baby is at his or her own pace! 


We had an impromptu photoshoot this morning. I figured it was as good of a time as any (e.g., it's never a good time). Here are some adorable shots...
