It's happened.

We did it. We started our family blog. This is something that I had been meaning to do pre-Elle and have been periodically thinking about. Now that baby girl is 10 weeks old on Monday, this is one of those better late than never type deals. Alas, here we are. 


Casey gets credit for the name. His other suggestions were: TEAC (AKA Thormahlen- Elle, Ania, Casey) and Bark at the Moon (for our Bassets). The latter cracks me up. 


In baby news, Elle's cooing has evolved these past few days. It's gone from short vowel utterances to longer vowel utterances. So, from "oohhhh" to "ohhh-ah-ah-ah-oohh-grunt". We had several conversations this morning and I wanted to cry it was so adorable. I had originally planned to brag about how wonderfully she was napping this week (and by this week, I mean starting Wednesday) but today is turning out to be another rough day. She is taking her first nap now and it's 3 PM. Hoping she lasts at least an hour! Here is baby girl attempting nap #5353031 of the day on our bed.

In parting, I leave you with this amazing hat that I just ordered from Etsy for my sweet baby. I also ordered a matching diaper cover. A photoshoot is absolutely happening as soon as it's delivered. Please note: that is not my baby.
